The way in which you get the team to focus on the drum beat and enjoy the spirit of drumming is fascinating, and indeed brings the team closer together and connect with themselves. We hope that more of our branches will make use of your activities.

 Simphiwe Khoza - Standard Bank

At the beginning of this year, Mike and Tracey Chananie of Talking Drums came to run a drumming session for our entire staff. This was, in fact, the first thing the staff did together after returning from the Christmas holidays. The session was greatly enjoyed. Not only was it professionally presented, it was also a lot of fun. Even those who were not particularly musical were involved and could at least manage some of the simpler rhythms. There was a sense of bonding between the staff at the end of the session. A lot was covered in the space of one hour by the end of which some quite complicated rhythms were being played. Something worth repeating I think.
